Cicero Translations is a great place to work: the team is lively and enthusiastic, we are committed to high professional standards while maintaining a friendly atmosphere and we have an open style of management.

We currently have no full or part-time vacancies:

Qualified freelance translators
Well-qualified translators, especially those with some specialist knowledge, are always welcome to register on Cicero's panel of translators. We would be particularly interested to hear from qualified translators and proofreaders for the following language groups:

• Indian
• Middle Eastern
• Eastern European
• Scandinavian

Freelance linguists for proofreading
We would like to hear from qualified linguists who are willing to proofread text which has been translated by a professional translator. Freelance cultural advisors
We would like to hear from people willing to act as cultural advisors to our clients in the UK who are doing business with another country, or who are about to go and live in another country, and who want an understanding of the cultural differences they will face. You should be willing to give instruction on potential cultural misunderstandings and to share your experiences with our clients. You will need to be totally familiar with British culture and to have lived abroad for a number of years, and ideally also to have worked abroad. Teaching experience would be an advantage.
