The Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle de Londres was established in 1915 to educate pupils in line with the French educational system. More than a century later, the Lycée is one of the UK’s most highly-regarded independent schools.
The Lycée teaches pupils of different nationalities and has bilingual learning in two of their primary schools. Following a change in the French curriculum and learning objectives, they urgently needed to have it translated in time for the start of the new school year but the timeframe would have made the task impossible for a single translator to accomplish.
We put together a team of trusted translators and proof-readers to work full-time to meet the deadline. Using the latest software, the team was able to collaborate and combine their vocabulary and style to ensure a smooth and consistent final document.
The Lycée was able to provide their English partners with the curriculum in time for the new school year, fostering a closer cooperation between the French and English primary teachers.
"The Lycée was very satisfied with the timely result and seamless process. It has used Cicero’s translation services on a number of occasions and was always impressed by their professionalism."
